Posts on this blog are all about relationships, about us, and the people we know. Relationships are the intersections of two paths, and love is the key to every connection. Jesus chose his apostles, had a personal relationship with each one, and as a unit they became the Body of Christ, bringing many disciples to him.
There is always strength in numbers and God blesses our relationships. In the same way as with the apostles, he uses them to build his Kingdom on earth, to teach us wisdom, and to help us in our faith. At the same time, our relationships help others to know and love God.
God places many people in our paths, and some become our friends, some our best friends, some co-workers or acquaintances, and some our spouses and partners. Many of us will turn into parents, grandparents, foster parents, and sometimes caregivers for those we love. At times, we may enter into other relationships as well, and when God brings two people together, he always has something in mind for both people. It is never a one-sided connection; it is always give and take on both sides. Our most life-changing relationship is with our God and Savior who loves us unconditionally.
I believe we all have ideas that can benefit others in how we handle the difficulties and questions that seem to creep into every relationship. We all struggle at times with our relationships, as well as with our transitioned connections of those no longer with us here on the earth.
People have many good ideas and things that have worked well for them. Although every situation or relationship is unique, there is much wisdom and guidance floating around from person to person. As you think about what you have learned from your own path, please share helpful ideas with others.
