Sins of the Tongue - Words for God's People

Sirach 5:12 “Be consistent in your thoughts; steadfast be your words.”

Sins of the tongue are some of the most dangerous sins. Words spoken in anger are damaging to the heart of those who hear and damaging to the soul of the one who speaks.

Words such as these are serious sins for these sins can cause one to lose the love of another. A soul does not always forgive and forget as My Father does. Words often live on in a heart causing hurt, shame, and despair, for words hurt the heart and not the body. Many times a heart does not heal and words may live on forever until one day when that soul leaves your world.

Teach My people the power of words and the joy or the sorrow which they can cause. Even one word can hurt a heart for life. My people must always seek forgiveness when words spoken in anger are said. Although the heart may forgive, it does not forget. My people must always be careful of words spoken to another. Each word must be spoken with love. In this way, words can bring only love and joy to another.

I often use words spoken from another for My people. My faithful ones listen with an open heart and one filled with love. I use the words of My faithful ones to help My lost souls. Teach My people to always speak with love.
